Exhaust on 550i
#1
Guys, Newbie here, first post
Anyway, recent purchased a 550i, and wondering what exhaust you guys have on it?
Heard of RPI, Supersprint, Eisenmann, any recommendations? (limited budget too, else I heard Tubi is really good)
Thanks in advance!

RPI is the best AND they just recently came out with the 550 exhaust, they have a Group Buy going right now. I'll find it and post. Welcome to the E60 family and forum. Enjoy your new car ( I already know you are).

THank you very much for all the kind words and advance, anyone here has the RPI installed? does it sound "too loud"? I know sounds is relative, but I don't one to be heard from a block away...... Love a deep growl but not excessively loud and disturbing....
will try to post some pics later

I've heard the RPI 550 axle back exhaust in person and can assure you it is not 'too loud', when driving under normal conditions. From the interior of the car, windows rolled up, you can hear the slight rumble of the exhaust. but when the car is at WOT, the sound is exhilarating!
All the exhausts you mentioned are going to sound similar when driving aggressively. The RPi will produce the most power and I highly recommend going with it over the other two.
As Gene mentioned, there is a group buy currently going on. please add your name to the list if you would like to take advantage of the group discount.

Just so you know, the quads look great but will result in a loss of power.
