While attempting to repaint my dash and door trim Titanium Silver, I cracked the driver side handle trim. Dealer wanted approx. $150 to replace it. I decided that I would change my whole approach to the trim, as the tit. silver looked horrible. Purchased the Di-noc Carbon wrap and went to work on all the trim. It turned out great....no flaws at all. UNTIL...the first day in Texas heat caused it to bubble and peel at the complex curves. This was my error as I skipped the 3M 94 Adhesive Primer.
So, ordered all new Di-noc a few days ago and it arrived today. Going to replace my error and finish the rear trim and center console on Friday. I am so far impressed with the ease of use of the Di-noc, as I have never wrapped anything before. I highly recommend that anyone considering this MOD to try it yourself before paying someone to do it. If you love attention to detail like I do, it is a fun job!!
I know that this thread is useless without pics, so I will get some up as soon as I find the damn camera!!

I had the same thing happen after my di-noc install so I ripped it out. I'm curious to know if the situation improves using the adhesive primer. Do you use a heat gun or a torch? I used a heat gun and the thing was too hot in both settings - if I ever attempt this agin I am going to use a flame because its easier to 'throttle' the heat distribution.

I used the heat gun. I consider myself somewhat a pro at controlling the distribution of heat with the gun. Years of practice using it to shine Army boots....after you burn a few pairs of $120 jump boots, you learn how to use it properly.
