Yeah, E60's are really dusty when it comes to brakes/rims. I'm still waiting to use up my brake pads some
more before I change to Axxis or Green... that is if I don't sell the car first.

EBC Redstuff, or Greenstuff are also a pad worth considering. These are both ceramic pads.

I've had my Redstuff installed for about 8000 miles, and they work great, and also there is minimal dusting.

EBC say there is no such thing as a 'dustless pad', as due to the nature of how brake pads work, there will always be a certain amount of dust,to avoid rotor vibration.

I got Axxis pads on the way

I track my car regularly so will post review on this pad compared to OEM's.

+1 on the EBC's

If you want a "sporty" pad capable of pretty quick track driving the EBC Red Stuff pads are also excellent because there is virtually zero dust, maybe wipe a light film from the wheel once a month, even at the end of a hard day on track with my old 46 it was only just about worth wiping them down, and I was seriously hammering those brakes all day.

I had the Axxis Deluxe pads installed prior to delivery from the dealer, they work like OEM without any of the dust. I've gone over a month without cleaning my wheels at times , you'll love them !

Wow... I HAVE to get these for my 166 rims in the Summer. Cleaning those is a daily chore.

I was told that when you need to change brake pads, that you need to do BOTH the pads and the rotors at the same time. Is that true?
Don't wait until your pads are worn out if you want to put the Axxis pads on.The OEM BMW rotors can't be turned so if the are worn they need to be replaced. GL
