My Ride: 2008 535xi Touring - KW Var 3 Coilovers, VMR V710 20x9" wheels, Falken 452 245/35/19" Tires, OEM M5 Front Bumper, OEM M5 Front Fenders, OEM M5 Mirrors, Hamman Style CF Front Lip, Matte Black Kidney Grills, 20% Tint, B&W BMW Roundels.
Im running 225/30/20 F and 235/35/20 R on 9" Width rim .... but my offsets are real aggressive for a XI
285/30 rear (9.5), 245/30 front (8.5) (sport suspension)... rubs with passengers in rear when hitting a huge dip or bump. Rubbing on top so rolling fenders won't do much, will have to get a heat gun and push in plastic to fix it.

Be sure to post up width of rims guys as it makes a big difference of how much stretch your getting.
It´s not only about tyre size, you can´t just say "285 are rubbing"!! .. all these effect; offset, spacer(size?) wheel wide, lowering, modded or stock fenders (or even m5 fenders)
I´m runing 10"x20" et11 245/30R20 Hankook S1 Evo and 11"x20" et13 285/25R20 Hankook S1 Evo. Modded rear fenders + stock m5 fenders at front and no rubbing.

245 30 20 285 25 20 never rubs in back. acually i can prolly lower it another 2 inchs and still not rub. the front will give a tiny rub on big dips at high speed. but hardly ever. i wanna up the sidewall size tho these ride like shit
