Or, you can paint them body color.

My car came with body color inserts from the factory, silver gray, (01/04/05 delivery). Replaced them with red.

My dealer did not have the reflectors in stock, but said he could get them in 2 days at cost of about $12 each.

escuse my ignorance, but why having reflectors if they are same color as the car? I am losing something?

I think i would stick with black before having reflectors same color as my car.

but then again i went with the red flectors!

Are the red reflectors legal in the US?

Did you try a search? This topic is posted all the time. You slip some fishing line behind the outside edge and work it toward the middle. Otherwise you can try prying it out with a plastic tool.
I think the reflectors may be cheaper at the dealer than what you paid.

No its the inside edge... look at your red reflectors... you can see that the outter edge (* towards the car*) is like a hook and cant be pryed off. The inner side closest to the license plate is a metalic prong that bends and snaps into place. So just get a piece of string and slip it behind the inner edge and yank... (*your insert will prob go flying onto the ground. *)
