I was looking into a tune and find this one. Let me know what you guys think of it.

Same tune as the one provided by RPI and backed by RPI, go for it

As stated it says I would need:

Upgraded aftermarket IC is required
Oil cooler is required
High performance catless downpipes are required
Upgraded air intake is required

What company would you recommend for each part and where can I find them as these are my next mods. Thanks

What I don't get is why they call it a stage 4 tune when ESS only has stages 1-3?

FMIC's and DP's are not out for the e60 n54 engine AFAIK.....


with the e60 n54 engine, you are limited to flash only.....

Just make sure it doesn't throw up errors on the iDrive bc of the XDrive. On my old XI, I did an ECU Tune (which was great!), however, it wasn't made for the XI version and threw up an error message from time to time in the idrive screen. i didn't care and never really learned if it had an effect on the car, as i sold it shortly thereafter.

yeah I noticed that as well when I went to esstuning.com, thats strange.

fmic=front mount intercooler...needed to decrease the temps so you don't blow your turbo with all that extra boost...

dp=downpipes..needed to increase air flow....

I know there's downpipes available for the 535, but no intercooler. So its basically pointless to do this tune then?
