I detected no real increase in performance.
However the beautiful deep rumble gives a real sensation when accelerating. At higher revs the deep tone changes into a racy sound. I love it!!

Note that inside the car the sound never becomes annoying (which is quite important when cruising on the highway).

I will try to make to make a soundclip with my Canon ixus but don't know if it goes well with this small camera.

Good to hear that highway cruising is not a problem sound wise. I wonder though if in the 545i it will be acceptable for me??

I am betting that it will be, Andy. I have found the Remus to be inobtrusive at all speeds, even to my wife.

Good question. Maybe he will come forth. Another consideration of loudness is not to attract the highway patrol's attention.

i ordered the version with the lowest soundlevel so i guess its the sportversion.

don't get me wrong - the sound is louder and much deeper than the original exhaust however never annoying. i like it
