On the passenger side of the car they weld a oval shaped plate around the exhaust pipe to emulate the apperance of a muffler. Judging by the pictures this is what I see. If that is the case i don't know why anyone in their right minds would buy this kit.

[/quote]I ordered the Eisenmann dual tip (2x 76mm). Also checked the 2x 83mm but for this one you need to cut the rearbumper and that's not an option for me...thats also the reason why i didn't go for the quad tips. Should have it installed in about 2 weeks.

I am going to buy a aftermarket exhaust, don't know which one to buy.
I had the ACS for my previous M Roadster, I'd love the sound but I don't want to go for the same brand again in my E60.
I was thinking of Eisenmann or Hamann exhaust, but don't know how do they sound? A good friend of mine had the Hamann on his M3 and said it was way too loud to be acceptable.
For me, I would like to have a little sound but not too loud, and the quad tip for both Hamann and Eisenmann looks great too!
What do you think?
