My Ride: E60 523i (2006)
Eibach Pro Kit
Hi there.
I'm new on this site.
I'm looking for suspension for my E60 523i VIN: B928252
Basically I like the Bilstein/Eibach B12 Pro Kit.
Problem is, that I have been looking at a great deal of pictures on the web of E60's with the Pro Kit springs, and som sit nice and perfect, while other cars hardly show the drop or have a very raked look, that I don't want. The Pro Kit should drop the car 30/30 mm or 1.2 all around. But some cars look kinda funny on the pictures...
My car has done 131.000 km (about 80.000 miles) and was produced in 2006.
I know that the springs may have dropped a bit, and therefor I maby can expect a little less of a drop... I also want to change the shocks while doing the install.
Therfor I am thorn between the B12 kit and the B14 Coilover that are adjustable, and therefor the safe bet.
How many on this board has installed the Pro Kit (just the springs, should show the drop)
Could you please post a picture of your car with those springs and or the entire B12 Bilstein Pro Kit.
I'm going for a modest drop, and not a slammed look...
The pictures shows my car, on the standard non sport suspension. I need a bit of a drop
