I've got some slight vibrations with H&R 10mm spacers between 60 - 80 mph. I'm going to try 12mm and see if the vibrations will go away.

I'm a little hesitant suggesting people with 166 wheels put on 15mm or greater spacers. I took a good look at my rear wheels prior to removing my wheel to replace the 10mm with 12mm. There isn't much room for the wheel and tire to fit inside the wheel well under compression.

Brian1225 has almost the same setup as mine. Both have H&R Sport springs, 167 instead of 166 (same wheel dimensions and offsets), 12mm H&R spacers, and 285/30/19 tires. He had to ROLL his fenders to accommodate the rear wheels and tires. The only thing preventing me from rolling my fender is I have 275/30/19 tires.
Hey, remember to post back after you get the 12mm on! We need pictures and vibration update! I am too, try to decide if I want 12 or 15mm.

I think that 275 vs. 285 makes the difference for the 1/8" inch spacer size difference.

On the vibration issue, I am very confused. All H&R spacers come 72.56 mm inside diameter. The piece that goes inside the wheel is the same size for 10mm or 12mm. Once the wheel lugs are tightened, everything is compressed, and you should have a hubcentric fit.

I learned something very valuable on the vibration issue from spending a lot of time talking to a person who specializes in wheels. Some tires can actually move a bit on a wheel and lose their balance after installation. Thus, you may not have vibration at first, but then it creeps up as you drive. When you have the spacer replaced, check the balance again. FYI, I have heard that a wood block and hammer are often needed to remove the H&R spacers.

Okay, I found out what the culprit was regarding the vibrations. The shop that installed my springs and spacers did NOT tightening my lug nuts sufficient enough. I found this out when I tried to swap the 10mm with the 12mm. After unsucessfully trying I put the right rear wheel back on and gave it a good tightening. Drove the car on the highway today and noticed the lack of vibrations. So, the spacers were never the issue. It was the lug nuts.

The rear wheel with a 19" #166 configuration looks very small if the wheel is inset. When the wheel is pushed out, it looks bigger. The spacer does nothing really for performance.
