Simple question for those of you that have the roof spoilers. Besides just the look of it.. how would you rate its effectiveness? When driving in rain/wet conditions does it keep your rear windshield much more clear than without or would you say its really only useful for cosmetic purposes?

Looks? Great. Effectiveness? Slim to nil, it does seem to keep dust off your rear window a little, but rain or water it has no effect on. Mainly, like the trunk spoiler, it's for looks only. Just another way to distinguish your E60 from the multitude out there.

LOL if you want to distinguish your car maybe it might be best keeping it off LOL

Agreed, I have a RD Design and it just looks good sittin there.
