That's what i was thinking. Still haven't got a reply from them on the subject on whom is going to repair my car if it get broken. Them in Germany or any bmw dealer and they will simply pay for the repair.

just a silly but good advice, if I really wants sg done I CALL THEM, do not wait for reply those guys spends their life ona nd next to the rolling-road
So:
My question was:
In case, (just in case) something goes wrong, gearbox or engine, and the car gets imobilised who will repair for the damage? Wetterauer or a bmw dealership and wetterauer will pay for it. Because again i don't want to find myself with the car broken and having to ship it to Germany just for the repair.
I hope you understand my concern.
Thank you.
And their answer:
When you take the optional warranty, our insurance company will give you up to three years warranty on engine, gearbox and drivetrain. The insurance company pays damages that are happend in case of the modification. It pays not for original BMW damages. The insurance company will tell you in the case a damage happen, who and where the car will be repaired.
So...i understand that they have an insurance company, a separate company, and it pays for whatever damages are done because of the remap and for no other bmw related damages. Ok fine till gere. But where and who will make a check to see what damages are done because of the chip? The insurrace company? Are they skilled to do that? And if yes...that mean's i have to transport the car there...and what if they decide to have the car repaired in Germany at who knows what bmw dealer?!

Before you consider Wetterau, better read this test on the 2liter engine which could be a sign of quality of what you get for the 3liter

With Wetterauer you shouldn't experience any problems. They are known as one of the best in the business and it shouldn't damage your car.
If you want chip tuning you have to take the risk anyways. And dealing with Wetterauer is one of the best things you can do. I have never heard anybody complaining about them or their products...
