My Ride: 2005 530i, Premium/Sport Packages. Heated Seats, Sat Radio, Mystic Blue Metallic and Dakota Gray Leather interior. Active steering and headlights, M5 166 wheels

I had my ECU remapped a year ago. I don't drive the car that much. However the acceleration is extremely delayed when I hit the pedal. Also gears seem to stick. Gas mileage is nonexistent. I put full tank in on Monday and Tuesday I have used 1/4 tank of gas from driving 40 miles in one day, just to work and back.

Can anyone recommend ECU repair or maybe another good remap?

thanks

This is for my 05 non m5 e60 sport model.

You should try calling RPI or pm'ing vegastrashed. they can re-flash your ecu with powerchip.
Good Luck!

You had it done with Eurorev. Are they aware of the problem? Why do you think the remap has gone bad? I'm curious to know as well. There are quite a few with the Speed Innovations/Eurorev remap. Im hoping this is an isolated occurance. Good luck - keep us posted!

???????
Why a remap if already done?

Get the car, go to run at 120 MPH and it will come back alive.

I use the 5 1-2 days per week and when it remains in the garage for 15 days it seems slower.
After 30 minutes-2 hrs of highway she comes back bad as before

How many days/weeks did it remain still?

You should try and put back the original map for the ECU... and it should come back to normal, I mean after you re-map your ECU back to stock, your car should drive as it did before you mapped it for more HP
