What wiring are you using between the new amp and the earthquakes? Because if you are using the factory wiring itself then you will need to make a Y connector wherein you take the speaker outputs from the L7 as, use them as inputs to you new amp and then the output of your new amp will go back into the car's wiring to the subs. All the other wires will just need to be connected through between the two plugs.

so when you say harness to new amp and then new amp to harness, do you mean placing the new amp in between the oem amp and the harness and leaving the existing wiring between the harness and the subs alone? so the finished product is oem amp into new amp into harness?
If you could draw a simple picture, that would be awesome. I want to uprade my woofers but still unsure of the procedure. I think a picture will clear things up. Thanks a million
