just recently switched from Mtec 2.1 to the 5watt bulb, not that much difference and barely visible in daylight. Be careful with the Ebay bulb though because some will cause error message. If you want, contact John of Motorcepts or Trinity and get their 5watt version. A bit more expensive but at least you know if something wrong, you can always have it taken care of properly.

got mine a used 5watt from DKNY to test out before I decide what to do. Now wondering about Orion but not sure if I'm comfortable enough opening the headlight yet. I'll just wait out for the new one that Umnitza is bringing in soon.

actually if you contact Umnitza they will charge you 249 for the install you have to ship your headlights to them

I'm about an hour away from Umnitza so I wouldn't need to ship it to them. The problem is that I can justify spending another $250 on installation alone. I'm more of a DIY guy but if I do ship, I rather ship it down south to Simon since he has done this mod for many members here and so far, all are very happy with his work. If you're interested in it, contact Simon, member name Nomis Nehc.

We've done over 30+ installs on E60 headlights. Pretty confident in our work on this.
