E60 Widebody

I'm about to order a widebody kit for my '04 E60 525d from ibherdesign (link)

The wheel arches extend 4cm(1.5")/side in the front and 6cm(2.3")/side in the rear. I have stock suspension, and don't plan on changing that unless I REALLY have to.
I'm aware that I will have to either get spacers, or wheels with 0 or negative ET. I asked ibherdesign if I would have to cut my stock fenders to make more room for the up/down wheel travel, and they said there's no need, unless my car is lowered.
Now, the wheel arches extend horizontally from the fender edge. Doesn't the wheel tuck a bit inside the fenders during road bumps? If they do, I don't see how they won't touch the extensions.
So I guess my question is, will it fit without touching during potholes, and how do other people with widebody kits manage this problem?

Look man at the end of the day, it's YOUR car but this is one of those things that people will ridicule you about if you don't run wide wheels and lower it. I hope you have thick skin.
The wheels should not rub though.

Wheelwise, I'm currently running 18" PDW Kaisers 255rear and 245front, and I will have to get some thick spacers with this bodykit.

I will take lowering into consideration. I'm a form>function kinda guy, but to a point. I commute 100km/day in this car. 90% of those are smooth, but city potholes and railcrossings are killing me (see Shmee's Gumball run through Romania). If it looks off with the bodykit on, I will deffinetly try to find a lowering solution.

I think its going to look amazing. what ever you do to your car do it for yourself, after all your the one whos going to be driving it not anyone else.
lowering would be ideal but isn't always nessacary, after all the factory m5 looks sexy as it is and its not on lowering springs. Only thing id say is make sure your wheels are wide enough or you have proper spacers to accommodate the offset or the widebody will not look proper with the wheels tucked into the wheel well. the 0 offset should give it a very aggressive stance

I might get 19" wheels but deffinetly not 20", it's my daily driver so it has to be practical. I drive it 100km every day, and none of those are highway. I didn't put any M/// or M5 badges since it isn't one, therefore I won't be getting M5 mirrors.
