I have stock rims, 138 I think...

I went to 3 different wheel places in Tampa and they could not balance them properly. I get vibration from 70 to 90 mph. Think I should keep trying or bite the bullet and go to the dealer...

Thanks!

Are you sure you don't have a bent rim?

Pretty sure, it was balanced fine until I put on new tires at tire kingdom and got them to balance the wheels.

ask them to road force balance them to check if the tires are out of round.

I've having the same issue. I've had my all season conti's roadforce balanced THREE times and an alignment now and still get a slight shimey from 50-75~. I think its the person using the roadforce machine... I have a feeling the migrant worker at the tire shop just doesn't know what the fuck he is doing...

BMW quoted me $25 a tire to do it properly, maybe I will bite because it drives me friggin nuts...

Good luck.

I can't imagine BMW's entire assortment of wheels for the e60 are any more difficult to balance than those for any other model or manufacturer.

I am suspecting the same thing! I will try again tomorrow at yet another location.

Thanks
