e60 voltage regulator and brushes
I have a 2010 528i and will be removing the voltage regulator on the back of the alternator.
After I put the new one in do I have to register the voltage regulator (similar to putting a new battery in and having to register the new battery)?
Does the new voltage regulator have to be configured with INPA?

hi scott, no I don't believe replacing the alternator in any E60 requires any sort of coding. I have never heard of anyone running into that problem. someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
