I am really enjoying the 60 degree weather we are having here in NY. I need some storm mats for my E60. 08 528i.

Does BMW sell storm mats, and if so how much are they?

If not will these be good for me http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Weat...ior+Accessories.

Please let me know. Also for you members that also live in NY, or NJ, wherever the cold strikes , what do you use?

I will be looking into storm mats myself. I didn't drive my car at all last winter so never needed them. I'm pretty sure BMW makes them, but I bet they're pricey.

Perhaps someone will chime in with a better alternative.

I use the BMW rubber floor mats front and rear all year round. They are easy to rinse and quick to dry. The BMW driver mat has the retaining holes and hooks to stop the mat from sliding forward and getting hung up on the pedals. With any other brands, you'll be missing the two retaining hooks or have to cut to fit.

I have these same BMW rubber mats in black. I paid about $80 at the dealer. I use them about 5-6 months out of the year. You get what you pay for...you won't be disappointed.

Here are some OEMs for $85 shipped on e-Bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-5-SERIE...sQ5fAccessories

Here are some used OEMs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-5-Serie...sQ5fAccessories

And OEMs for $71.95 OBO shipped: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-5-SERIE...sQ5fAccessories

BTW: I have no connection to any seller.

I just picked up OEM black all-weather mats today from the dealer. Great fit, couldn't be happier.
