The 04/05 OEM wheels are great, IMO. I cannot stand most after-market wheels. They all look like they belong on a suped up Honda Civic with a big ole wing and a Flowmaster. Just my opinion and I know lots of you love those after market wheels.

The brokers get their cars from authorized BMW dealers. The theory is that they buy in volume so they get big discounts. The Dealers here in Portland aren't very willing to go below MSRP... even though this will be my 3rd BMW.

The Brokers I've talked to are saying they can get BMWs for around $2K over invoice.

Those Piaas look good, similar to the BMW parallels, no? How much do those run?

Here's a pic of an e60 with the gt3s

I must say I'm very disappointed in the factory wheel selection available for 2004/2005.

I'm considering SSR GT3s or PIAA Super Rozzas, (both attached).

Any comments?

Thanks...... Spartacus_33

I believe you'll have very cool looking wheels with either one, but I favor the PIAA. I did not know PIAA made/sells wheels as well,,, I thought they only had light bulbs....

Crap! I forgot to get the big ole wing! Maybe I'll pull one off of a WRX.

I am going with the SSR GT3's. 19x8.5's up front and 19x10's in the rear with Bridgestone S03's.

I hope to have the car in the next 3 weeks and will post pictures.

Cheers,

I've had good luck with S-03's in the past. I like them even better than the S-02's (although some may beg to differ). The dual compound helps with the heat-cycle effect as most "sport" tires wear. They'll stick almost down to the wear bars.

Post pics when you get 'em.

Thanks Wiu-Bimmer.
