A couple times at a Safeway parking lot, some folks stop and want to talk about the mods on my car. Usually we chat it up for 5-10 minutes. It always starts off with, "Sir, Sir..excuse me sir. What kind of 5 series is that?"

It's nice people still appreciate our aging e60's.

sounds crazy but im thinking about wrapping my car in a non-matte color or going back to black sapphire metallic because i get a little too much attention with the blacked out lights, orions, black wheels, yellow calipers and matte finish...

daily someone stops me or wants to race me at a light here in LA. most days i just want to drive in peace.....i must be getting old lol

Nah, you're not getting old Bro. It's more like being the best gunslinger, you can't just chill and have a drink, someone ALWAYS wants to have a showdown.

My Ride: 2004 BMW E60 530i, upgrades: Magnaflow exhaust, Mtec angel eyes and low beam head lights, Just purchased 172 style wheels, looking around for the best tires on Tire Rack now. R1 concepts rotors drilled/slotted. Saving for the M-style kit from Trinity Auto.

Mine is a 2004 with Metallic Blue and still turns heads. In the process of upgrading it to a sport 550i look. Aerodynamic kit and 19' spider wheels. Car has 117,600 miles and still going strong. Has a Magnaflow exhaust that sounds awesome. Will be putting M5 side view mirrors on probably next year.
