Hello all,

I'm a newbie to all this, so please bear with me if I am missing the obvious. I am trying to slowly get the parts to upgrade my 05' 525i to navi. I found an 8.8in screen on ebay that is out of an 04 740 li, and was wondering if i can use it in my E60. They look the same, but, then again...I really have no clue about these things yet. Trying to get into it, but still not there yet. Thanks for any help that you all can give me!

 

should work, however you'll need more then just the 16:9 screen, youll also need the MKIV (NAV) computer as well, not to mention some sort of CPU upgrade. But to answer your question I believe he screen will work. Ask one of the senior members, or try comparing that part number to one that comes in a 5 series.
