Is it possible to remove the Mtech center grill without removing whole bumper, like the instructions say to?

How about by removing headlights for example?

You don't need to remove the entire bumper to remove the grills. There is a DIY on the forum that will explain in detail how to properly handle this. I did it recently and it went smoothly. Just need some patience. search for grill removal and a couple of threads should pop up. good luck

Do you mean the kidney grills? Because, not those ones, the center one below the kidneys.
Will have a look but let me know if you find the link.

I just pulled the bumper off this weekend to adjust it after I pulled to close to a curb and it took a 1/2 hour to remove...not that difficult.
