Hi,

I am driving E60 BMW 525i, 04 model, UK spec with a twist knob kind of heater climate control. It is M-ASK model (business non navigation model) This twist knob heater has 2 connectors at the back. I was wondering if there is any way if I can upgrade it to the new round knob automatic heater climate control which has 3 connectors at the back of it..

The new round knob heater has a beautiful look compare to the older twist knob heater.

I am puzzled and really looking forward for an answer? I am very sure it involves some modification/adding wire harness? Please advice.

Regards,
Narinderjit

Wow I have never seen that before! Is this an early built in 2003 E60?

There's a thread on this somewhere. You have to change out and add several components to make the automatic climate control system work, in addition to programming the IHKA module.
