The original lumma kit is around 20k USD. Now we copied out the bodykit n offer 1/5 of the price. The bodykit might not suit everyone taste but we provide a choice for the forummers here. We are not trying to make a quick buck here but to buy the original product plus to do mould costs us a lot of money and effort.
Like the hamann e60 m sport add on lip. We can sell it for USD250 and the quality is 100% same like the original ones. furthermore the original piece is selling for more than usd750 per piece.

sounds fair now~ didnt know u had to buy the original 20K kit.. if that's the case, 1/5 is fine. still high though~by the way, do u hav a website or catalogue of all your products? like M5 replica parts etc.

That makes sense if you are covering that large up front fixed cost. Given the responses, most people have a problem spending that much on a replica, even if it's 1/5th the price. My suggestion to you would be to setup a group buy so that you can spread the fixed cost over more people and guarantee a good sales base. Once people see it on some cars, they will be more interested in buying. If you can eventually sell to 40 people, that upfront cost is only $500 per kit. Sometimes you gotta go for volume over profit per piece.
I love the kit, but can't afford it, good luck though...

Wolf, I'm sure you don't remember the quad m scandal. he undercut every vendor's price and collected all the $$$$ from all the members and ran away. I believe there is a lawsuit against him right now. He took off with 100K.....
