Hi,
I just installed HID kits for my low beam and fog lights. Everything went smooth (although I lost a couple pieces of tools by dropping into engine bay LOL) except that I don't have the right pieces of metal to hold my H7 bulb. I know I can take out the holder from my OEM harness and cut it, but I don't wanna do that. So temporarily I hold my bulbs with paper clips , I know, don't judge me.

Well, and now I came across this website selling exactly what I need.
http://hidconcept.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=87

But 12.99 for 2 pieces of small metal and $5 shipping to my address!!
I don't feel like paying around 20 bucks to just get those...

So can someone give me some advices or places where I can get those for cheap... like a few bucks (I know I'm a cheap guy LOL)

Thats odd.

I didnt need any extra pieces when I installed my HIDS. The bulbs fitted like stock and I used the metal retaining clips for the wires.

I cut my clips and couldn't get them to fit right. I took my car to a shop in NJ and they said I did not need to cut the clips. I then needed new clips which cost me $10 ($5 each).

Nah, you do need to cut the clip to allow the wires to fit through.

How did you get the wires inside the hole of the clip without cutting it?

+1000000
EXACTLY!!
So Simon, would you mind giving away your clips? LOL jk...
How much I'm willing to pay? Like 10 bucks at most hehe...
btw, I'm saving up for orion rings and installation fees to have it installed with you but it won't happen anytime soon as my brother recently got into an accident and his car(e39) doesn't have full coverage so I have to borrow (more like give away) him money to buy another car ((
