i was able to reach the inside side clips lft and rt with small hemostats and pushed the clip and pulled the gril at the same time... then once you get that you can reach in to pull the other out...ericd

just to be sure, you said push the clips not pull.

You need to push on the clip first to loosen / unlock it first before you pull your grill out.

I changed mine without grazed knuckles, not breaking a single clip and an absolute piece of cake.

I put in the diy section how I did it a little while ago

Well changing the grill is easy if you don't have those flaps in front of the radiator in your way.

I did it for another member in HK in under 15 mins if you know what you are doing.

HI,

I'm in the opposite position and have the standard 520d black inner/chrome outer grill. I want to fit the all chrome grill, but not sure where to get one from or how much they cost. (I'm in the UK). Anyone have any ideas where to get them? Any BMW parts website or anything?

Maybe you can swap it with some member in the UK who wants a black grill
