Are you referring to style #37 rims The M Parallel spoke?, if you are take a look at the style 125's they are very similar but the 125 is a 19" for the e60.

I just got my car at the Performance Center last week, and ordered BBS RK 2 piece wheels back in Jan and still do not have them. Supposedly I will get them at the end of this month. As soon as I get them mounted I will take some pics and make sure I post them so I can get your opinions on them.

bimmerhitman,

Looking forward to those picks. mr pink on roadfly is the one that generated the photoshop, but he did it because he actually purchased them. He has 19" LMs on it, and they look pretty good. For a wheel with a lip, the stepped lip 19" wheels look pretty good. I don't think he will be creating any additional photoshops. he will probably be driving his own.

I think these are bbs. I got this from some other board a while ago while I was rim shopping. There were other good picks of it too.I can't remember where, probably bimmerfest. It looks like the rear wheel is larger which makes it look better. I should have done that.

I think they look pretty good.

I believe these are BBS RXIIs. Someone posted a few pics on the roadfly board recently. They do look good on the E60. Someone on this board mentioned staggering the wheels so that you have 19s on the front and 20s on the back. Porsche and others do that, and it could work. Someone was mentioning that you wouldn't want to do that, but if you have 19s all the way around with 245 in front and 275 in the rear, you can't rotate front to back anyway. My wife has an expedition with Radials and she can't rotate left to right (I think), and we get good life out of the tires.

I'm mentioning all of this to say that if the look of the car is nice with the 19s and 20s, what are the negatives of this setup besides cost and possibly weight. I'm curious.

Aaron,

The sport package has larger wheels(width, not diameter) and tires but it does not have different sizes in terms of 19's and 20's. I would not even consider this without talking to the dealer or tire rack. The first thing you have to make sure is that you are doing + 1 or + 2 sizing, and I honestly do not know how this works with different actual wheel sizes. Price is definately a downside to this, especially if you have weight in mind. Generally, the lighter the wheel, the more expensive it is, assuming the wheel is lighter due to it being a two piece or three piece wheel. Another downside is how much damage you want to do to your wheels. I do not know where you live but I live in PA, known to have the worst roads in the US, and I would never go with anything above 18's because of that. All it takes is one pothole with a 19" wheel and you are sending it off to the Wheel Collision Center. I wonder if there is any coincidence they are located a mere 15 minutes from me........
