Hey guys...

Bang for the buck..which is the best choice.

Want to buy a 2004-07 E60 and get the M5 kit and wheels and custom exhaust.

As a base car which one should i go with?

Horsepower is not a priority...spending less is...keep in mind I would be painting the whole car

Let me know your thoughts.

Why would you paint the whole car?

If you want more reliability I'd do a 530 if hp isn't a priority...

The 545 has a 4.4 V8 and is more powerful and a tad bit less reliable then 525/530. The 525 is your best bet. Whats your budget?

Dude,
From your screen name I suspect you like POWER, since your not looking at the M5 right now, I would tell you to look at a V8 either a 545 or a 550.

A smart thing would be to buy an LCI car with the stuff you want on there but otherwise look for something that fits your budget.

Good Luck

LCI is 2008-2010. If your budget is 15/17k you can find a nice 525i in that price range. Where are you located?
