Where can I find the install instructions for this? yes I did search. I see the vid you posted about installing the wires into the connector.. but is there one about how/where the connector mounts? or does it just go where the CD changer is?

Seems like I have seen every install for every other type of aux input device but not this one specifically

Search YouTube for e60 aux install and it should be the first 2 results, part 1 and 2. It's under user Brendinernst.

 

In the video, he says that the pins go into 2,7, and 8. Does it matter which wire (white, red, black) is going to 2, 7,8?

 

Yes it does matter look up his first video on you tube he explains where they go
