I wish, but I doubt they would want to give us a refund, even though they used false advertisement.

I was pretty upset about the numbers so we will be doing more development work on the E60 scoop. Those of you who have purchased the scoop already will receive a FREE replacement when we release V2 for the 550. Our goal was to get a minimum of 5whp gain.

Eloy...thanks for posting the dyno's. Now we know that AFE was lying to everyone.
NOTE: I want to let everyone know that I will be contacting AFE about this and I will let everyone know what they say. I'm sure they will say the same thing they said about the M5 intake (the ECU didn't adapt and the hood was closed). In real life no one drives with the hood OPEN! AND Eloy's fan is blowing about 70mph.
As for the refund you may have to call AFE customer service and see what they say.
Sorry guys....I have deleted all the AFE products off my website as well.

I just drove my car back from RPI and I can really feel the difference between AFE (Hot Air Intake) and the stock air box. The car just feels so much more responsive and the lag that I had at low to mid range is gone. I hit mostly traffic on the way back so I didn't get a chance to open it up but I promise you the stock air box is waaay better then that AFE piece of crap  . And that Dyno BS AFE puts on their box is full of Sh!T.. So the lesson I learn today is don't ever buy a Cold Air Intake (really is a Hot Air Intake) for your car just stick to the stock box and drop in a K&N Filter.
I think we should all call or email AFE and get a refund for our Hot Air Intakes and tell them they are misleading people with that stupid dyno chart they put on their boxes. Instead of gaining hp you will lose 11hp. Also if they say that the ECU has to adapt to mods, you can tell them that's BS cause I saw the dynamometer with my own eyes when Eloy put the scoops in the car it produced Hp right then and there. When he took it off it lost hp. So tell those fools at AFE to stop lying to their customers. Thanks Eloy for setting this straight.
