E60 535d increasing HP

Matson, i am sorry to disagree of you but i did something like 110.000 km´s with my remaped E61 535d and did not have any problems with the DPF!
and my car measured 335hp´s and 790nm´s!
No problem with DPF, or gearbox!
I know that each car is different issue, but i was not the only one here in Portugal with power figures like these and not one of us have had any problems with DPF!

I think that there is no massiv or big difference between 320-370 hp from this engine. The poi t is how this power is given by engine to wheels. Dpf is very good thing because there is absolutely no smoke, when you cut it off he car will smoke like old mercedes now i have 310hp and my times from 0-100 0-200 are almost the same like 370hp.

At 530d, it´s maybe not any reason to take DPF off. With chip you can get about ~260hp & 600nm. DPF does not affect performance yet.
Only if you change the 535d nozzles on your car, and then make software for those, it starts to make sense take DPF off. You would get something about ~340hp and 800nm, but at a much lower rpm because you have only one turbo. 535d pulls up to 5000rpm when 530d starts to slow after ~3500rpm
That´s possible, I do not deny it. But possibility to have problems is hundred times likely.
If you had that much power.. are you sure you did really have that all power, in use, all the time?
Did you watch that pic and video which I put on the first page? Smoke? .. Ok, true, like I wrote, you have some smoke before turbos kicks in, but in full throttle, no .. IF everything is ok, and software had made right.
And different between 310hp and 370hp 535d is huge! The numbers do not tell the whole truth. Car has a completely different nature with "all in" software. And all so when we are talking about horsepowers, we have to remember are those numbers taken on dyno (reliable one?!), or just heard from ecutuner..
I do not try to argue, but to tell you what I've learned the hard way with my car. It is also nice to hear other experiences

Matson^ You're right , every dyno give us another numbers. Do You have Yours times 0-100, 0-200, or another in 370 hp setup or more ? I'll check mine times on Race Logic and we can compare times.

And there should be more power and better tires on next summer
edit. 80kmh -> 120kmh, takes about 2,2s

Guys you propably know this but when you enable your digital tacho by NCS experttool on a board computer it will shows you a higher speed than 260 km/h.
On my chipped 535d my record is 271 km/h by GPS. On a digital tacho of boardcomputer with showing a real speed (lower than analog tacho) it runned to 268 km/h, then the other cars stopped me on accelerating. I have to do another test on summer tyres :-) I am affraid going that fast on winter tyres even they are a higher speed model. :-)
What are your topspeeds with chipped 535d?

My Ride: 535d -08 lots of goodies
120dA -06
I think that depends alot on where the power is in the revband, my delimited e39 540i6 did 267km/h on gps, the 535d has the same power so if there is power that far up the revrange i dont see why it could not do roughly the same.
