I'm trying to replicate the spacing of the M5 using my stock wheels. What size spacers should I order for front and back wheels?

It all depends on the look you want. Do you have the sport suspension? If you are going to use spacers with your stock wheels, you can look up the offsets of factory wheels from REALOEM.COM then use that number to subtract from to get to the M5 offsets. I believe M5 offsets for M166 wheels are ET12 in the front and ET28 in the rear so, if you stock sport wheels (ET20 all around) you will need an 8mm spacer to get the front to match up and nothing for the rear since the offset is more aggressive on the sport. Hope this helps! Good luck!

It depends on things, like the widths and offsets of your current wheels. It's completely impossible to say what size spacers you would need without this information.

Ok so I don't need to open another topic on this, what spacers would you suggest? I've got:
front: 8,5x19 ET:18 245/35 R19 93Y
rear: 9,5x19 ET:32 275/30 R19 96Y

I'm guessing 12mm rear only?

m5 offsets are F et:12, R et:28
m6 offests are F et:12, R et:17

most recc m6 offests as they sit more flush to the fender....

Thanks for all the help guys. So that would work for a stock 04 530i non sport package without rubbing?

We still don't know what are your current wheels so it is still impossible to say what size spacers you would need.

edit: Can you pick your wheel from this site?
