I love rolling shots. I think I like the third pic above better though cause it's brighter and shows the brake calipers more. Hmm...wonder if that's how my brakes look too.

You would be surprised what a decent quality wheel can survive as far as potholes go. Here's a pic of my VIPER, I'm in NY too, and I've driven this car on the FDR, Bronx River Pkwy, BQE, everything. I'm sure you would look at it and think "no way that would drive on the FDR", but it has, many times. Good suspension helps alot too. In these pics, the car is on KW coilovers:
