I was wondering if anyone has purchased the DVD Entertainment Package (Rear monitor with remote, six-disc DVD Changer) ... I see it listed as a factory option in the BMW 5 Series Price and Option List from BMW Canada ... if so, wondering what your thoughts are about it, and if you have any pictures you can share ... thanks in advance

I'm surprized that no one seems to be aware of this factory option ... I'd like to know if it has headphones, and where it is mounted (roof or between the seat on the centre arm rest) ...

the headphones go on the rear console underneath the pwr sources. The entertainment packages are there. I have seen them in the parts listing when I was trying to get one for US. Unfortunatly you can not get one for sure with region one. However, I could have ordered a package for a different region. Hope this helps

I assume ints another one of these options that we cannot get in the US, but the rest of the world can have it...
However, I just checked on the bmw.de web page, they do not list is as an option for the e60 in Germany.

To help stop copyrighten movies from being copied, DVD's were coded with certain region codes. NA is region 1 Western Europe region 2 and so on.

It's not listed as an option on the Canadian BWM web page but I see it on the Canadian Price Option List ... $2,500 Canadian Dollars, thats around 1,600 Euro ... would love to see it and/or get some feedback about it from someone who has it ...

I held out for a MY2005 in hopes this option would be added in the states, but I was told it was not so I ordered without. My wait got me Bluetooth though so I guess it was worth it. Anyone have pictures of this option installed?

Your wait can also get you Sirius with Nav if you wish...

Are the extra wood pieces for the interior standard now? Can the wood e-brake and shifter be ordered with a new car?
