My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
Very nice

Congrats!
Does it feel more powerful? Are you going to combine it with a Dinan Stage 2 ECU reflash?

im gonna do this now, can you share any tips for the installation?
One more thing I forgot to mention is to take the mounting bracket holding the cylinder like thing off, by pulling it then unbolt the bracket.

When the bracket is removed just set that thing down and back so you have more room for the flex tubing to go into the M5 duct.

I'm trying to figure out how you mate the M5 duct to the tubing.
Do you have a layout of how you connected everything. Thanks.

Actually pretty easy to install. it is same process for 545i and 550i.... Only the hard part is the mate the M5 duct and tubing.... there are many ways to do....

Great mod. Now perhaps you could give your engine a little love in cleaning that bad boy up with some P21S total autowash.

This mod is cool but it does not work for I6 engines, there isn't enough space (I tried)
