Are there alternate options for software flash/upgrade other than Dinan Stage 2 Software? Thanks.

Yes, I have Upsolute (www.upsolute.com) not bad at all... they can custom it such revving +250 (safest) additional RPM and speed limiter removed if you ask them. They claim 20whp gains.

Tip: Dremel the intake opening to maximize airflow and minimize turbulence.

For V8 engines. I was looking at the straight 6s and I cannot find anywhere to fit even a 2" tube. Or maybe we attach an m5 duct, 3" piping going under the engine near the bottom, hook it back up to the intake. Now this is abolutely ridiculously long intake and probably doesnt work. I'll look at a 530i next time and check to see what my options are.

Anyone in NYC wanna do this mod? DKNY, I can help you. Just buy the parts and I'll get it going for you.

I tried doing this with my straight six and the extra 2 cylinders in length uses up all the free space that is available for the pipe. There is no way you can fit another pipe running across the front of the engine, this is probably why Dinan doesn't offer the intake box for the straight six engines.

Cool! Make sure to calibrate the GTECH then match your rpm revving with the rpm of the gtech (it should be 99% same or accurate) then you are ready to run 1/4 times. Very important note all the temperature, altitude and air density from the place where you will run. Good luck and safe runs!

After using the dual ducts on my 545i for more of 1 and half years.... it is still pretty good and no issues, no engine check lights, nothing! total worth!!!
