Anyone here tried these door speaker pockets for fitting larger mid-bass speakers in the doors?

IMHO looks a little busy, but you can't beat the functionality, I guess...

I think recovered to match the door better would be pretty slick. Looks like 2 woofers fit in there. Nice find

Yeah, I did some research on custom speaker pods for BMW's and found this mob in Italy:

http://www.pmmodifiche.it/

Just go to the PRODITTO (Product) menu item, and then select BMW

They cost $367 Euros, and I *think* they fit the two mid-bass components in a 3-way component system.

I'm waiting for more info, and am happy to share what I find

I dont mind the silver / aluminium look... it'd suit my trimming

Actually, those Pokets house 2 x 6.5" mid-bass woofers

I think I prefer the look of Jenherts builds.

http://www.jehnert.de/

Follow English link then doorbuild catalogue of fitment.

Wish I found this a week ago....I already started my fiberglass door pods.
I was only able to fit one 8" midbass driver per door...I would of love to fit 2 6.5" instead though.
Maybe a vendor can get ahold of these???
