Question about taking the interior door panel off. Once you have all the snaps off from around the bottom and side edges of the door, the panel just dangles from the top. How do you remove the panel then? Do you pull straight out towards the interior of the car or do you push up on the panel towards the top frame of the window since the door lock knob at the top might keep it from pulling out? Stupid me can't seem to figure out the instructions on the TIS.
THANKS IN ADVANCE!

That's what I'm talking about, the clips on the top near where the glass comes out of. What do you mean by away, pull straight back towards the interior of the car or push the panel up towards the top of the window frame?

Removing and installing left or right front door trim panel
After unclipping bottom and side, and unclipping top retainers, there is a "central clip mounting". The panel has to be fed up to release the panel from the central clip, then away from the door. Pay careful attention to the air bag wires, Bowden cable and the door lock knob (at top).
If you haven't already, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to be safe around airbags and to avoid an airbag error if power to the airbag is interrupted accidentally or intentionally.

On my car the panels all pop straight out after first releasing the clips around the bottom and sides. The first time I did it I messed up and brought the lower window trim with the panel and it took ages to re-seat it properly. The trick is putting it back on correctly with the center mount needing to be reattached to the door panel first to make it easy.

After unclipping the top edge, you have to lift the panel upwards to get the center clip unclipped.
