Just wanted to know if there was a company out there who does not require us sending our ecu's in? I've seen superchips on some peoples tag but can not find the dealer that sells a superchip program for the car. I'm assuming superchips does not require us to send in the ecu?

Superchips does require you send in the ECU to remap. C's Bimmer and I both got ours done by Singh Autosports. I didn't send mine in b/c I was in the Bay Area when I had both my 545i and E63 remapped with Superchips. C's Bimmer, being in NY, sent his to Fremont, CA where they are located.

AFAIK, E60's cannot get ECU tuning via OBD.

Dinan....
but you have to take it to a shop to have it programed...
I thought it was programed with the OBD II port...
Maybe that is just the N54's though.
