Just discovered that when i charge my ipod or phone through cig lighter and connect it to aux jack I get noise interference but only when i step on the brake or have my head lights on I'm tryin to decide if I need a ground loop isolator to add to the aux line before it reaches the radio input or a 12v noise filter to add to the power line before it reaches the cig lighter. If anyone else has this issue and found a fix could u tell me what u did.

Thanks for this would you say this reduces the loudness of your device after installing this ? Also I use the ipod through the line out connected to my mod my nav which is connected to my aux jack via rca to aux cable i wonder if i can install this device to the rca to aux cable before it goes into my aux jack.

Here is a website Ishowing which cable I have as a sound output of the modmynav going into my aux jack

Not a problem.. It took me forever to figure out what that annoying buzzing was when I plugged my phone into my car. Anyways, I'm not an expert on this by any means, some of these cables do significantly decrease volume but from my experience with this one, it was hardly noticeable.. I also compensated for it by slightly turning up the AUX in volume through IDrive. As far as putting it internally, I would guess that you could just plug it between the AUX jack and the RCA to Headphone adapter, you might need a female to female headphone adapter depending what is on the other side of the aux jack, because both ends of this cable are male. Also, I looked back and I bought my cable from New Egg, it was only 10 bucks there, well worth it.
