I was asked the same question by my body shop. I told them paint it same color as car. I have not seem an e60 with black diffuser(bottom portion you are referring to). Might look good but I'm not that daring.

If you had it installed at VPC they would paint it the same color as the rest of the car, so I suggest you do the same. This is the way I have it and it looks great, but then again my car is black.
Hey viking...this is a off topic but do you know if Hartge makes a front splitter for the M Tech front spoiler? I've seen pictures of it but not on their site. I thought perhaps it's not available to the US but you guys in Europe might have it.

20" Hartge Nova 7. Previously 19" staggered 172s
I was actually disappointed to find that the rear of my E61 M Sport was body colour, have been considering making it semi-black.

Hi Viking:
I'm going with the same color as my car. (THANKS)...By the way did you remove your back trunk deck lid makings, (545, 530i or 525i) and replace them with just the "M"? or M5 or left it blank?
One BMW dealer in GA said I should put on my rear trunk lid, the "M5" badge:, beings it is an M kit. and a 5 series, but like I told him, it is not an M5, and I hate being deceived, and deceiving others!
But like yours it now does have the M aerodynamic kit, and I was considering just using the "M" from the M5 badge, or leaving it blank?

I will probably leave it blank...but for a second BMW e60 owners with the M kits opinion what do you think?
Thanks in advance.
