search the site as to a lot of discussion. M5 fenders are wider so I believe no. Also M5 front will not work with standard fenders.

Yes they are wider. Anyone ever have the stock fender customized to put the M5 gills in? Wondr if that could be done. You should check that out.

Well if you already had an M5 why would you replace the OEM with a MTech bumper?

No they will not fit. M5 fenders are about 11mm widers each side than normal fenders or Mtech . You will need both M5 fenders and front bumper to fit or else you will have a small gap between fenders and front bumper.

Are you implying you tried to put M5 fenders on your car to make it look like an M5 sweetie?

A lot of people have done this. It is only for the looks its not like people are going around lying they have an M5. They do have a V6 m5 tho. I do believe it is offered. Nothing wrong with making it look like one. Its not posing. Its just a look. I am doing the same thing most likely because at 22 yrs old I dont have 90k for an m5 .

it can be done, theres only a 1cm difference, meaning only 5mill on each side, theres some brackets used for the stock fenders to use the m5 bumper, which i plan to do too, not because i want to have a "fake m5" but because that front is the most appealing to me out of any other front.

as for the op, you can go to a local body shop and they will cut your fenders so you can install gills, which saves money and saves you from fitment issues

or another option is to cut your stock fenders and buy and insert M5 side grills
