I dont even like the stripes on the Alpinas let alone any other BMW. I say no but it's your car. Or maybe its not your car. If its a dealer car, what the hell, if you dont like it, just drive a different one.

Did the pinstripe thing on my 68 camaro SS. I believe time has passed pinstriping by.

Hey, I say do what you want. You can always remove it if you don't like it. We don't have to like it...but I'd be interested just to see it...so I say do it!

I was wondering the same thing. I was a senior in college when i was 21 and there's no way in hell I could afford to drive a $70,000 car. Even when I started my career, it took me 6 years of hard work to buy my 550i. All props to you for being able to afford such a fine car. (But PLEASE don't say mom 'n pop bought it for you).

Oh, and don't pinstripe the car. The E60 is a classy car. Let the design speak for itself without influence from what was considered hot in the 1980s.
