So much talk about if the 20" tires and rims rub or not on the fenders makes me wonder, i guess i just don't know. Some people say that it all depends on the set up what would make things different on the setup. My tires are Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S the Tires are about 27" i just want to know what i have to do to be able to prevent rubbing on my vehicle.

Thanks in advance to yo u all.

Rubbing is due to several factors most important of which is if your car is lowered or not. Two other factors include the offset of the wheels and then the tire size. Actually, another factor is the brand of tires as one brand may have a broader shoulder than another.

My car has the sports package and it rubbed when I first put on my R10s, even before lowering. I then had the fenders rolled but they still rubbed occasionally. I then installed KW coilovers and played around with the height adjustment a bit. With my current set up, there's no rubbing at all.

That said, it seems from the many threads that there are certain wheel/tire combo that won't rub at all, even with lowering springs.

are they rubbing now? what kind of wheels are the tires on?
you need to use low profile tires I recommend 295 25 20 or 285 30 20`s at rear.
if you still dont know what to do call tirerack talk anybody from sales they should be able to answer all your questions. also you can view the chart of tires from all brands in their website.

Just installed today, 9 and 10/20 typ 132 Radials, BMW OE stuff, with 255/30 and 295/25 20 PS2. Works just beautiful. Looks great too, no interference anywhere, and rides as good as my Bridgestone runflats. Pix coming once I get the M bumper cover mounted this weekend.

allenman, good to hear! Please post some pics when ready. With your current PS2 295/25/20 ? setup you experience no rubbing at highway speed on uneven roads (dips, etc.) and more than two people in the car? Also, do you have after market suspensions or OEM? I'm so excited, that your setup is working out well for you. I am still trying to resolved my PS2 295/25/20 rubbing problems.

TIA!

I think allenman's wheels, because they're OEMs, have a little more conservative offsets hence they don't have rubbing problems like our R10s. I don't think I've heard of anyone on this forum using OEM wheels to have rubbing issues.
