Had a week or so to try the car out now with DMS remap. What a difference The car was great before with a smooth uniform increase in speed round to the redline now its an animal! When the second turbo cuts in you're pushed back into the seat from the breath taking Evo like acceleration. DMS's claims of 0-60 in 5.5secs and 0-100 in 13.4 seem very accurate.

My wife used the car the other day and sent me a text saying "Your car is stupidly fast"

I would recommend this mod to anyone with a diesel E60.

Great. I am glad you are happy with the remap. clived got 13.8 at the strip, but his remap may not have been the same as yours. Yeeehaaaa.

I didn't buy my 535d for economy but would be interested in your observations on changes in the fuel consumption if your driving styles are comparable before and after the remap.

Chances are they're not!

Had mine done by www.e-maps.co.uk aboutg 3 weeks back and can only agree what a joy it is.

Consumption stays the same, if not slightly better, if used the same way as before. Unfortunately the first few weeks it's much too tempting to not use it as before.
