Thinking about giving my 163bhp a power upgrade - anyone had experience with the DMS upgrade, or any other for my car ?
Does the dealer service overwrite the code ?

let me know.

Cheers

But DMS will re-install the remap for nothing.

Top class service.

Hi

I am thinking of this for my '55 520d - how much does it cost and where do you have to go?

I got a quote for around 400 quid or so. I think there also may be an E60 forum discount.

My car is currently on lease which ends in Jun 09 - so I am planning the upgrade after I buy the car.

If you take the plunge first pls let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Tim

I tried sending those guys an email and still got no response. They show on their website what they have to offer for specifc vehicles but thye dont have any specs regarding the actual chip tune.

Check out Ptronic.com. I have a 535d and it's up from 272 to 352BHP. It would push yours up to 212bhp. It's a box that plugs directly into the fuel injection system. The beauty of it is that you just remove before going to the dealer. I've done so twice now and had various updates done. Have a look.
The performance is outstanding and fuel economy is up
