Hi All, as some of you may know, i have had my ecu remapped to 285bhp, by my mods installer, however i am considering a DMS Remap, as i heard it can give my 2006 231bhp engine around 300bhp, which is more than the 285bhp or so i have know, also if anyone has has remap on a 530d 231bhp by DMS.

Would appreciate some comments, suggestions before i give DMS UK A call.

 

Not much help, but I might be interested in this too, let me know what DMS say, perhaps get a small group discount?

I have a December 2004 530d sport - do you know if these are 218bhp or 231bhp as standard? I am certain they are 231.....Thanks

 

hey Harv, i spoke to DMS already, and they said what i have already, is the max really, otherwise it will put the turn=bo under too much strain.

Unfortunately that is the max, in regards to your model, i think its 218bhp model, in late 2005, they changed to 231bhp, and again later this year they are going to change again i think, as the petrol versions are also getting more power.

Theres is 4 cyclinder 520i comiing out also!

Yup, 218hp. They have already changed - to 235hp! Rumoured to hit around 250hp before the E60 is replaced...

1) Who would you recommend I contact to get my 2004 5.30 chipped and would you say it is a worthwhile thing to do?

2) What does your dealer say about this when they see your car has been chipped?

3) never heard of the BMW show..where and when?

contact DMS and tell them of your cars details year etc, they will tell you all.

and to E60BEEMER, 285bhp is more than my 530i, and its petrol. That should be enough for you......
