Hi there

I've heard and read a lot about upgrades from DMS. All statements I could find were very positive. Let's now change the order and let me ask:
-is anybody there, with a negative experience with DMS?
-does anybody has problems with an upgrade from DMS?

Let me be clear: I'm quite enthusiactic about DMS and it will take one or two weeks for an upgrade for my 535d. But it would be interesting to see, if there are any disadvantages or negative points.

Thanks a lot
Diagnosic

I have never seen anyone say they regreted going with DMS, only ever positive comments, and people normally talk far quicker about negative experiences.

Can someone please tell me what power/torque gains are expected on the 545i with a DMW ECU upgrade? Also, if they adjust the line pressure to tighten up trans shifts.
I have been told that the X5 3.0d upgrade increases torque from 480 to 560nm, & increases 20-30hp as well. Would like to hear feedback from anyone who has had this done.

My brother had his 3.0D X5 DMS remapped when I had my 535D done.

If anything he was even more impressed than I had been. It is now one very quick 4x4. He said that he wouldnt want it any quicker given the weight, braking and cornering ability.

The remap added throttle response as well as big increases in mid range oomph! The performance is similar to the petrol 4.4 version now....

Oh, and DMS were fantastic - really helpful and I have absolutely no complaints - neither have I ever heard a bad word said about them....

I never seen one bad comment about the work of either DMS or emaps (UK)
