DMS for non-turbo BMW
Hello all
I have a 545 and I'm very close before ordering an upgrade by DMS. My question: does someone have any experience with BMW upgrades (Petrol, without Turbo)?

It depends on what you expect from it : my 545 is remapped and I like it, but the gain you can obtain would be only 8-10 HP .

They have to say 30 HP otherwise nobody would be the remap .
In other terms, you wouldn't be quick as a 550i .
The remap on a naturally aspirated can only remove some restrictions regarding the pollution emissions and increase the rev limiter .
My suggestion is to go with it: I haven't DMS, but I like very much my remap : it adjusted the 1500-2500 and the 5000-6500 rpm range .
Pls ask for the rev limiter, I'm curious!

After driving 3 years stock, I definately feel the difference from the remap and expect slightly more kick after 4000rpm with the Supersprint on.

The upgrade goes to 367 HP and 495 NM. I believe that because they proved it on their rolling-road. And they give a 100 % satisfaction warranty.
I've read the DMS test results about M5 (E60) and the new M3 (see BMW Car Magazine) and both gave a very positive feedback (for normal aspirated cars).
I've been told that the performance increase is not the same as in a Diesel. But the kind of power delivery would be very much better than before.

Yes, 10% with a good exhaust .

Jetblack promised me some diagrams about 6800 rpm limiter by Dinan, but never seen anything .

This would be an interesting mod!
7400 rpm with M5 cluster would be cool!!
I talked by phone with that man and he told me EUR 3600+VAT for the parts only . That's crazy .
I bet in US he doesn't ask $5000 for them!
Which is the real price in US ?

You could ask just for the camshafts and tuning. (Don't forget we need 4 camshafts for our engines - stock camshafts cost 600euro/piece !)
